As a musician, vocalist, and songwriter myself. Discovering NMIXX is like discovering a mythical creature lol. Their sound and their style MIXXPOP is sooo unique, so mesmerizing, and so addictive, you'll never know what they'll do next. In a world drowned out by generic sounding music, they said "nahh we don't want to be like everyone else". That's what I love about them, they are true artists who will not compromise their art, their identity, regardless of what everyone else says. Not only are their vocals on another level, but they are also so musically gifted. But what I really love about them is that they stay humble. Even though they are literally the most talented group at the moment, they still strive and continue to better themselves. Their vocal techniques are almost perfect. What's more amazing? Here you have a group with 6 vocalists, 6 rappers, 6 dancers, 6 visuals, and 6 comedians 😁.

I love it, as I am sure most of NSWER do, but maybe it is interesting to start from the start. They don't have change-ups in _all_ of their songs, but it is in a fair bit of them. Dash portrays their desire for freedom to do what they want to do, unfettered by convention, through a metaphor of a prison break. I'm sure you did not miss the many prison references, but the one many people don't get because it might be a bit obscure by now is the ending. "Hey, you bastards, I'm still here" is indeed like a movie; it is a quote from the autobiographical movie Papillon, where the titular character unfairly convicted to a life on a prison island escapes on a raft; the quote is uttered at the point when he is clear of the island, not knowing if he will live or die, only that he is now free.

Dream was easily going fast towards 100 million views before YG put out a world wide copyright ban on most reactors at the time. It was also about run past Shoong with Tae Yang and Lisa. I guess it got a bit embarrassing that a cut and paste montage was headed to well past 100 million views. I think YG was also worried that the debut Batter Up might have less views than the pre debut Dream. But Batter Up was not a worry having just hit 247 million views. Dream is an iconic song, YG should have just let Dream run.

Nmixx is my ult kpop group because I never know what to expect when they release new albums or new singles. They can do any and everything and make it sound AMAZING. As an NSWER who has watched all reaction videos of NMIXX: your reaction was a breath of fresh air, it was honest when you got confused and yet captured the Expressive techniques, Tones and pitch of the girl’s vocals (that we all love).
